Message Miles, your profit or lack thereof is your problem, you obviously have no business skills. Either way, you were paid between $300 and $400. The following is the email I sent Miles on March 26, 2003, 4 months after I originally sent him my CAS, plenum and throttle bodies (and yes the address at the bottom was part of the email):

Ok Miles, here goes. Last week I finally got the package you shipped me and it was readily apparent that, 1) you couldnt find the tracking number because you shipped it USPS regular mail and they don't issue tracking numbers for that, 2) you screwed up the zip code and it somehow ended up in Ohio where they taped it up with tape that read "Received damaged", 3) you did a shit job packing, so bad that even the "received damaged" tape wasnt able to close all the gaping holes in the "box", 4) the chrome job that I didnt want because I'm having it ceramic coated appears to be covering a relatively poor polish job, 5) the throttle bodies were not put on with gaskets, but liquid gasket that is so messy it would obstruct the airway if I left it as is, 6) the throttle bodies are out of round due to the abuse received being shipped in such a poor manner, 7) the exhaust manifolds that you asked me to send to you have not been touched since I got done with them, 8) you did such a poor job unpacking, re-packing my stuff that you didnt even notice the sealed envelope with "Miles" written on it that contained my business card and a $20 bill to make sure you shipped it to the right address and by a proper shipping/packing method, and 9) I was almost ready to just forget about the whole thing and be glad I got my stuff back at all when I realized that the CAS was not in the "box". Miles, I want my CAS, but I have a feeling that it fell out of one of the gaping holes in the "box". I don't care how you get it, call the USPS, call Z1, take yours off, whatever, but I want a working CAS and I want it shipped UPS with proper packing. I don't even care if you don't polish it, just get it to me. I also don't want to hear any excuses, all of the above is true, any explaination is more than I care to hear. Get me the CAS in 10 days or I'll have no choice but to go public with this shit on TT.net which I would rather not do.

... and Miles' response:

First off. Sorry about the shipping address but that was all I had. About the letter, never emptied out the popcorn to keep that for your shipping stuff. As far as a CAS, it was sent out with the package but I'll get you one here in SA. Now the question is.. what address do I send it to?

...to which I responded the address you have always had, just don't transpose the zipcode

And finally, if anybody cares, polished "with a grinder" was actually a dremel and 120 grit sanding wheels, how that created 10 hours more work is anybody's guess.
